The choreographer and dancer Lorena Nogal, a member of La Veronal company, presents her first piece, a solo on the acceptance. El Elogio de la fisura is a celebration of beauty born from imperfection, asymmetry and irregularity.
Cracks that do not show or teach anything but suggest and invite us to live with new realities. Lorena Nogal says: “Dance is a game, and the body is the tool we have to play with it, so you have to try to do different things; change the look, change and rediscover. If you can imagine it, you can do it.”
The performance is the passage between now and change: a process of transformation and the search for a new version of oneself. A choreographed manifesto in which Lorena Nogal expresses through movements a delicate, vulnerable and unstructured body that floats and moves in a scenario of transition between what it was and what it is becoming, between the past and the undeniable present.
With this short but intense performance, Nogal walks, hugs and flows for the first time as a creator.
