Alessandro Ferroni is documentarist, director and sound designer. He has directed the documentaries Hijos del Sol and In Zona Mia. He has co-authored, together with Lisa Ferlazzo Natoli, Maddalena Parise and Alice Palazzi, Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny, and is co-creator of IF / Invasioni (dal) Futuro. He has directed the video project for the staging of Katzelmacher from Fassbinder; curated the sound design for Jakob von Gunten from Walser and for Lear by Edward Bond, of which he is also co-creator. He co-directed together with Maddalena Parise the visuals forLes Adieux! Parole salvate dalle fiamme.and the documentary La nonna è andata a votare. Finally, he is co-creator of lacasadargilla’s When the Rain Stops Falling by Andrew Bovell, of Bovell’s radio drama Distant Lights from Dark Places and of Heart’s Desire by Caryl Churchill. Since 2021, together with his company lacasadargilla, he is associated artist of Piccolo Teatro Milano.
