Lisa Ferlazzo Natoli

Author, actress and director. Among her many works: La casa d’argilla, Il libro delle domande, Foto di gruppo in un interno, the opera La bella dormente nel bosco, Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny by Brecht, Jakob von Gunten from Walser, Heart’s Desire by Caryl Churchill. She has curated several special projects as artistic director, including Wake up! Bagliori della primavera araba and IF/Invasioni (dal) Futuro. She has also directed Edward Bond’s radio drama The Testament of This Day, as well as his play Lear. She has co-authored and performed in Les Adieux! Parole salvate dalle fiamme.In 2019, she was awarded with the UBU Best Direction Prize for When the Rain Stops Falling by Andrew Bovell, produced by ERT / Teatro Nazionale. Since 2021, together with her company lacasadargilla, she is associated artist of Piccolo Teatro di Milano.

 

 

 

VIE Festival focuses on contemporary creation with the aim of intercepting new identities in the field of live performance. It takes place annually in different cities in the Emilia-Romagna Region and is organized by Emilia Romagna ERT / National Theatre.
The path of VIE 22 winds through the different approaches and styles of the contemporary scene, both Italian and international.
